Our standard cell fittings use the following components:
Tubing - 1/16" OD × 0.040" ID (1.6 mm OD × 1.0 mm ID) PFA or ETFE tubing.

Nut - Short, flat-bottomed, flangeless PEEK nut for 1/16″ OD tubing.
Ferrule - Flat-bottomed, flangeless ETFE ferrule for 1/16″ OD tubing.

O-ring - We additionally recommend an O-ring with an internal diameter of 1.5 mm and a cross-section of 1.0 mm (or ID 1.78 mm CS 1.78 mm). The appropriate material depends on the electrolyte:
- Aqueous electrolytes: FKM or EPDM
- Organic solvents: FFKM
Customisation - If these fittings don't suit your application, we can modify the cell connections to meet your requirements.
For example, when a higher flow is needed, we use 3 mm OD x 2 mm ID tubing. In this case, we select the fitting and the ferrule elements have to be altered to ensure liquid and gas tightness.
