What to do when I broke the glass chamber?

We receive requests for replacing the broken glass chambers from time to time. It is straightforward in the case of small volumes up to 50 mL, and you can purchase the new glass immediately from us. However, it is more complicated with larger beakers. Due to the high dimensional tolerance of glass beakers (especially in the case of jacketed vials), we recommend that the customer ship us the cell lid to select proper O-Rings. This will assure airtightness and reduce the risk of breaking the glass chamber by applying high force (high compression of the O-Rings). There are no extra costs involved for such a service, except the cost of the glass vial. However, the shipping costs of sending the lid to us and returning the cell must be covered by a customer. Please use the ‘return for repair’ option with your shipping service if custom clearance is required.

Please note that it is only a recommendation and can be omitted if proper measures are taken at the customer site.
